It is
definitely cooler today with rain this morning for our trip to the
airport. Our driver showed up right on
time and we headed out into the city rush hour traffic. We had plenty of time at the airport as the
plane was delayed in departure. Unfortunately, upon arrival at Phuket airport there was a mix up with our guide (we were late plus they went to the wrong
terminal) so it took over an hour before we found each other. We didn’t get to our hotel until about 6:00.
It’s a
lovely hotel right on the water and we were given an upgrade to a great room
with a patio overlooking the water. It
was dinner at one of the hotel restaurants (a lot more expensive than we are
used to paying) and then went to bed.
